Philosophy
Teaching music is not showing off one's virtuosity; instead, teaching is sharing and presenting the profoundness of music
3 points or less
Learning music is an integration of knowledge and skills! Not only do we understand the instrument itself, we also learn meters, rhythm, pitches, phrase, musicality, history, and sometimes even math! I always focus on three (or less) main topics in one lesson in order to make the lesson effective and clear.
Suzuki pedagogy/umbrella
Audiation (learning by listening) is the general impression of the Suzuki method. As a Suzuki certified flute teacher, I see the Suzuki approach is not only a first step or foundation to learning music, but the approach is a philosophy by itself. Students are developing their music abilities, very much like learning a language in a positive and supportive environment.

No limit
One of the Suzuki philosophies is "Every Child Can!" Without age limit, I believe all people are able to learn music. There is no limit on one's potential.
